Grateful

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas with their friends, family, and loved ones. I hope that you recalled the real reason for Christmas and celebrated our Savior's birth.

I am so grateful that we were able to gather at my mom's home with my brother and his three children as two of my children and my grandkids. We were able to Skype my daugher, son in law, and grandson in Germany also. Try explaining to two 4 year old cousins why they can't play or "drive" to see each other. So funny.

I am sure we were like everyone else and ate way too much great food and desserts during the days around Christmas. It is always so great to spend time with loves ones whether they are blood related or just always there for us. They are our chosen family. We all have those and I am so blessed to have many chosen family members.

As we look forward to 2016, what goals have you set for yourself? What are you doing to work towards reaching those goals? Make sure you enjoy each day and find something to be grateful for. All of us are blessed if we will just stop and take time to look around us. Weed out the negativity, Get off social media or at least take a break from time to time. Love you all. Mean it.
